The normal background rate of myocarditis is about one in a million. Before covid vaccines were introduced, only a handful of non-serious covid cases of myocarditis were reported. He mentioned the death of Dominican basketball player \u00d3scar Cabrera Adames who got myocarditis and initially collapsed in 2021. Adames blamed his illness on covid shots, and later died in June 2023 at his doctors\u2019 office while on the treadmill during a stress test. Adames reluctantly took two Pfizer injections as a requirement to be able to continue his work.
