{"id":138830,"date":"2023-11-16T20:35:30","date_gmt":"2023-11-16T20:35:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/?p=138830"},"modified":"2023-11-16T20:35:30","modified_gmt":"2023-11-16T20:35:30","slug":"while-you-were-watching-israel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/en\/while-you-were-watching-israel\/","title":{"rendered":"While you were watching Israel\u2026\u2026."},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Just like Ukraine, the latest war is perfect camouflage for the Great Reset<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We need a new approach to digital identity<\/em>\u201d, so say the authors of an <em>Agenda Article<\/em> for the World Economic Forum, published on the 28th of September.<\/p>\n<p>Digital ID has been in the news a lot lately, obscured in the mist of the Israel-Hamas situation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-138831\" src=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/id.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"327\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/id.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/id-300x175.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/id-1024x597.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/id-768x448.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Recently the United Nation Developments Programme published its legal guidelines for digital IDs as well as \u201c<em>mobilizing<\/em>\u201d global leadership with a $400mn fund to \u201c<em>empower<\/em>\u201d digital identity programmes in over 100 countries.<\/p>\n<p>Various nations are already making steps in that direction. Multiple US states are either already issuing digital IDs or planning to in the near future, as are Kenya, Somalia, Bhutan and Singapore. Austria\u2019s system is going online starting with December.<\/p>\n<p><em>Forbes Australia<\/em> published it\u2019s guide to what \u201c<em>Australians need to know<\/em>\u201d about digital IDs, and<em> 9News<\/em> reported that they could be in place as soon as next year. The <em>Journal of Australian Law Society<\/em> predicted the same.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, also in Australia, the world\u2019s 21st largest bank is changing its terms and conditions to allow it to \u201c<em>de-bank<\/em>\u201d customers.<\/p>\n<p>The National Australian Bank\u2019s \u201c<em>revised<\/em>\u201d terms and conditions that went into force on November 1st and include, in clause 11: \u201c<em>NAB may close your account at any time at its discretion<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The reasons NAB would consider enforcing clause 11 make for interesting reading:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>NAB can take a range of aspects into account when exercising its rights and discretions. These can include:<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>[\u2026]<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>(e) NAB\u2019s public statements, including those relating to protecting vulnerable persons, the environment or sustainability;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>(f) community expectations and any impact on NAB\u2019s reputation<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So \u2013 as of November 1st \u2013 NAB reserves the right to de-bank any client if he gets socially cancelled, or says something they don\u2019t approve of about climate change or \u201c<em>vulnerable people<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In the UK, it was reported the government is planning to upload every passport photo in their records to a facial recognition database. <em>Big Brother Watch<\/em> reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u274cWe did NOT consent to this! <\/p>\n<p>The Government plans to put your passport photo on a giant facial recognition database.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/StopFacialRecognition?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#StopFacialRecognition<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/sblrMJV7xk\">pic.twitter.com\/sblrMJV7xk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Big Brother Watch (@BigBrotherWatch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BigBrotherWatch\/status\/1712424121034768577?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 12, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, despite \u201c<em>record profits<\/em>\u201d for energy companies last winter, the UK government reports they may need to further increase energy bills to \u201c<em>prevent energy companies going bust<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of the planet, Japan announced it would be trading carbon credits on its stock exchange, and some Japanese firms are introducing a digital currency specifically for the settlement of \u201c<em>clean energy certificates<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>India announced the launch of trial wholesale digital currency, and the <em>South China Morning Post<\/em> reported a new \u201c<em>hard-wallet<\/em>\u201d for SIM-based CBDC payments, a joint project between the Bank of China and Chinese telecommunications giants.<\/p>\n<p>Back to Australia, it was reported on October 12th that Mastercard and the Reserve Bank of Australia had \u201c<em>successfully trialled<\/em>\u201d the interoperability of CBDC systems, whilst ensuring that \u201c<em>the pilot CBDC can be held, used, and redeemed only by authorised parties<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Mastercard\u2019s report also notes that the benefits of CBDCs are \u201c<em>programmability, transparency, and compliance<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and a new study says eating bugs is good for your metabolism.<\/p>\n<p>So that\u2019s progress on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Global digital IDs<\/li>\n<li>Debanking for wrong-think<\/li>\n<li>Mass surveillance and facial recognition<\/li>\n<li>Inflated energy prices<\/li>\n<li>Carbon credits<\/li>\n<li>Programmable digital currency<\/li>\n<li>Eating ze bugs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2026\u2026. all from the last weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Just a reminder \u2013 or a series of reminders \u2013 that the Great Reset didn\u2019t stop, it just faded into the background.
