US Congress is planning to hold another round of public UFO hearings within a matter of weeks, according to a senior member of the Senate\u2019s Armed Services Committee.<\/p>\n

The new hearings will take place to boost the credibility of the Pentagon\u2019s division charged with dealing with unidentified flying objects, a senior lawmaker has said.<\/p>\n

They follow more US military whistleblower claims about baffling airborne mysteries including a massive flying disc which was recently spotted above a missile base in Montana, and former-Pentagon official Luis Elizondo\u2019s revelations that he personally handled an \u2018extraterrestrial\u2019 implant removed from a veteran servicemember.<\/p>\n

The All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) was founded in July 2022, with the help of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. She told the Daily Mail<\/em> that she\u2019s working to schedule a hearing within weeks.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cIt\u2019s a priority for me because I think it\u2019s very important we continue to make the information publicly available<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Armed Services Committee intends to host \u201ca progress report on how many unidentified aerial phenomena [UAP] we\u2019ve assessed and analyzed, give examples of what we have identified and give examples of what we haven\u2019t identified<\/em>,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n

According to Gillibrand, the hearing should renew public trust in AARO, after a series of military whistleblower claims about the government covering up possible alien encounters.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe also want to try to continue to build credibility within this office [AARO] so more of the public can feed in sightings and have a place and a platform to send information and inquiries<\/em>,\u201d she added, \u201cbecause that\u2019s eventually what this office is supposed to do<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The hearing announcement comes after images<\/a> of a \u201chuge UFO<\/em>\u201d with \u201ctons of blinking and spinning lights<\/em>\u201d was posted on Reddit. The sighting was recorded in Choteau, Montana, less than 100 kilometers from the Malmstrom Air Force Base, a major nuclear missile facility.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing what you truly believe to be a massive object in the silent night sky going over your head and home carries a lot more emotional weight in person<\/em>,\u201d said the anonymous witness.<\/p>\n

When some users suggested the phenomenon may have been a constellation of Elon Musk\u2019s Starlink communication satellites, the witness disagreed.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m familiar with Starlink videos<\/em>,\u201d he wrote. \u201c\u2019While we were watching the object it was very apparent that the lights were around the silhouette of a large craft. You could not \u2018see between the lights\u2019, it was solid dark behind them. Our take is that we were seeing a disc shape from the side<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The encounter occurred around 10 pm local time on August 31, the man said, adding that his wife was \u201cshaking due to emotions and crying from the experience<\/em>\u201d afterwards.<\/p>\n
