{"id":181461,"date":"2024-12-09T20:53:27","date_gmt":"2024-12-09T20:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/?p=181461"},"modified":"2024-12-09T20:53:27","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T20:53:27","slug":"hunters-lawyer-moves-to-dismiss-indictment-after-pardon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/en\/hunters-lawyer-moves-to-dismiss-indictment-after-pardon\/","title":{"rendered":"Hunter\u2019s Lawyer Moves To Dismiss Indictment After Pardon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter for all his deeds in the last 11 years, despite Biden and the White House repeatedly denying he would do so.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-181462\" src=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1-31-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1-31-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1-31.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The pardon comes ahead of Hunter\u2019s Dec. 12 sentencing for his conviction on federal gun charges, as well as an upcoming Dec. 16 sentencing in a separate criminal case in which he pleaded guilty on federal tax evasion charges.<\/p>\n<p>The pardon, which is \u201c<em>Full and Unconditional<\/em>,\u201d is expected to cover both the gun conviction and the guilty plea, and covers offenses \u201c<em>which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in<\/em>\u201d over a nearly 11-year period from Jan. 1, 2014 through Dec. 1, 2024. Including <a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20140513132005\/http:\/burisma.com\/hunter-biden-joins-the-team-of-burisma-holdings\/\">this<\/a>, which Donald Trump was impeached for asking about.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-181465\" src=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2-14-e1733777566465-300x250.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2-14-e1733777566465-300x250.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/2-14-e1733777566465.jpg 489w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Biden said Hunter was \u201c<em>treated differently<\/em>\u201d by his own Justice Department, adding that the charges only came about \u201c<em>after several of my political opponents in Congress instigated them to attack me and oppose my election<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>In trying to break Hunter, they\u2019ve tried to break me<\/em>,\u201d Biden continued, adding \u201c<em>Enough is enough<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In recent months Biden has said he wouldn\u2019t pardon Hunter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>I will not pardon him<\/em>,\u201d Biden said in June. However, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/joe-biden\/joe-biden-issue-pardon-son-hunter-biden-rcna182369\"><em>NBC News<\/em><\/a>, Biden has been discussing a pardon with his closest aides since Hunter\u2019s June conviction, adding that the decision was made at the time for the president to lie and say he wouldn\u2019t pardon him.<\/p>\n<p>In November, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre reiterated that Joe\u2019s position hadn\u2019t changed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We\u2019ve been asked that question multiple times. Our answer stands which is \u2018no\u2019<\/em>,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>And when asked recently if Biden is still committed to <em>not<\/em> pardoning Hunter, White House spokesperson Andrew Bates said \u201c<em>The president has spoken to this<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jill Biden also said Hunter wouldn\u2019t receive a pardon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Joe and I both respect the judicial system, and that\u2019s the bottom line<\/em>,\u201d she told <em>NBC News<\/em> in June.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Hunter Biden\u2019s lawyer has now moved to dismiss his indictment based on his pardon.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>yogaesoteric<br \/>\nDecember 9, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter for all his deeds in the last 11 years, despite Biden and the White House repeatedly denying he would do so.
