The same playbook used during the covid pandemic is being dusted off and repackaged, complete with calls for mass vaccinations, PCR testing, and the ever-convenient scapegoat of \u201cvirus reassortment<\/em>.\u201d<\/a> Let\u2019s take a closer look at what\u2019s really going on.<\/p>\n

The latest alarm bells are ringing over the H5N1 avian influenza virus, which has been circulating in birds and, more recently, cattle<\/a>. Scientists are warning that the virus could mutate and jump to humans, sparking the next global pandemic. Sound familiar? It should. This is the same fear-mongering tactic seen with covid, where the specter of a deadly virus was used to justify unprecedented government overreach and the rapid rollout of untested vaccines.<\/p>\n

But here\u2019s the kicker: despite years of dire predictions, the bird flu pandemic hasn\u2019t materialized. Why? Because the virus, while dangerous in certain contexts, hasn\u2019t yet acquired the mutations necessary to spread efficiently among humans. Yet, instead of acknowledging this, the usual suspects\u2014government health agencies, corporate media and their army of \u201cexperts<\/em>\u201d \u2013 are doubling down on the fear narrative.<\/p>\n

Take, for example, the recent push for mRNA vaccines for poultry. Yes, you read that correctly. The same technology behind the controversial covid shots is now being touted as the solution to bird flu. Companies like Ceva Animal Health are already developing mRNA vaccines for ducks and chickens, with initial results described as \u201cvery promising<\/em>.\u201d But let\u2019s not forget how \u201cpromising<\/em>\u201d the covid vaccines were supposed to be \u2013 until they weren\u2019t.<\/p>\n

Same old song and dance<\/strong><\/p>\n

The parallels between the covid and bird flu narratives are impossible to ignore. Both rely on the same tired tropes: a mysterious virus, a lack of transparency and a rush to vaccinate without proper long-term safety data. And just like with covid, the bird flu hysteria is being used to justify policies that erode people\u2019s freedoms and expand government control.<\/p>\n

Consider the case of France, where for a long time farmers are being pressured to vaccinate their flocks despite concerns about trade restrictions<\/a> and the potential for vaccinated birds to still spread the virus. Or look at the United States, where the government is reluctant to endorse poultry vaccinations\u2014not out of concern for public health, but because of fears it could disrupt exports. It\u2019s clear that the real priority here isn\u2019t protecting people or animals; it\u2019s protecting profits and power.<\/p>\n

And then there\u2019s the issue of \u201cvirus reassortment<\/em>,\u201d the latest buzzword being used to stoke fear. According to the experts, this process \u2013 where two viruses swap genetic material inside a host cell \u2013 could create a new, more dangerous strain of bird flu. But here\u2019s what they\u2019re not telling you: virus reassortment isn\u2019t just a natural phenomenon. It\u2019s something that can be \u2013 and has been \u2013 engineered in labs through gain-of-function research.<\/p>\n

Sound familiar? It should. Gain-of-function research was at the heart of the covid lab leak theory, which suggested that the virus may have been accidentally released from a lab in Wuhan, China. Now, the same scientists and institutions that downplayed the lab leak theory are warning about the dangers of virus reassortment. Coincidence? Hardly.<\/p>\n

The truth is, the bird flu narrative is less about public health and more about control. It\u2019s about conditioning the public to accept yet another round of lockdowns, mandates and experimental vaccines. It\u2019s about normalizing the idea that our freedoms can \u2013 and should \u2013 be suspended in the name of \u201csafety.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the bird flu hysteria ramps up, remember this: the government and its allies in the media and pharmaceutical industry have a vested interest in keeping us afraid. Fear is a powerful tool, and they\u2019re not afraid to use it. But you don\u2019t have to play along.<\/p>\n
