Elon Musk lifted the lid on what he calls the \u201cbiggest scam<\/em>\u201d in U.S. history during his viral appearance on episode #2281<\/a> of The Joe Rogan Experience<\/em> podcast.<\/p>\n

The conversation focused on government waste and abuse \u2013 and Musk had a lot to say.<\/p>\n

Musk quickly caused shock when he revealed that the government had given the Navy $12 billion to build new submarines \u2013 and not a single submarine was built.<\/p>\n

When lawmakers asked where the money went, Navy officials shrugged and said they had no idea \u2013 a revelation Musk heard firsthand from Senator Susan Collins (R-Maine).<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Senator Collins told me about a case where she gave the Navy $12 billion for more submarines, but didn’t get any additional submarines, and then held a hearing to ask where the $12 billion went.<\/em><\/p>\n

And they said something like, \u2018We don’t know. That’s it.\u2019 I mean, basically, this is all so crazy. Only the federal government can get away with this waste<\/em>,\u201d Musk said.<\/p>\n

In another eye-opening moment, Musk concluded that the government could save $100 billion a year by forcing agencies to explain what their payments are actually for.<\/p>\n

He mentioned that the current system allows the government to send payments with no categorization code, no description, and no explanation \u2013 basically issuing blank checks with no accountability.<\/p>\n

Musk compared this to publicly traded companies, saying that a company that tried to do the same would immediately be delisted and its executives \u201cwould go to jail<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musk and Rogan extended their outrage to the National Security Agency (NSA), saying they were alarmed to learn that over 100 intelligence officials had spent taxpayers’ money turning government servers into porn chat rooms instead of protecting the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour tax dollars at work<\/em>,\u201d Musk scoffed. \u201cThey shouldn’t even be talking about this. They should be protecting the country<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Musk picked apart the slogan \u201cthreat to democracy<\/em>\u201d, calling it a cover for the \u201cthreat to bureaucracy<\/em>\u201d before exposing what he called \u201cthe biggest fraud of all time<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

And that fraud consists of the government using taxpayer-funded NGOs as a loophole to funnel billions of dollars into shady, unaccountable organizations that do actions that would be illegal if done directly by the government itself.<\/p>\n

Musk explained that the term \u201cNGO\u201d is actually a \u201ccontradiction in itself<\/em>\u201d since these so-called non-governmental organizations are funded directly by the government.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole NGO story is a nightmare. And it’s a misnomer because if you have a government-funded non-governmental organization, you’re just a government-funded organization. It’s an oxymoron<\/em>,\u201d Musk explained.<\/p>\n

Popular X user and data scientist Jennica Pounds, better known as DataRepublican<\/em>, recently exposed an NGO that claims to be committed to \u201cdemocracy<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a NewsNation<\/em> exclusive, she revealed that this particular NGO received $17 million \u2013 and \u201cthe only act they did with $17 million was produce a terrible Muppet show<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The NGO, co-founded by Norm Eisen, calls itself the States United Democracy Center, and all they managed to accomplish with that $17 million was about 200 views per episode of their Muppet Show<\/em> knockoff\u2014something that looked more like a $17,000 production.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey took money and did this show with it. It was just awful. Jim Henson would be turning in his grave. And it was weird because all the videos had less than 200 views<\/em>,\u201d DataRepublican<\/em> explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey didn’t even try to promote it with advertising or anything. So where did the $17 million go?<\/em>\u201d she asked.<\/p>\n

DataRepublican<\/em> also recently exposed the Uniparty as a group of NGOs that are partly funded with your tax money.<\/p>\n

According to their investigation, seven NGOs, heavily supported by USAID and the US State Department, act as the executive arm of the Uniparty, spreading propaganda under the guise of \u201cprotecting democracy<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Originally founded during the Cold War, these groups shifted their mission from spreading democracy abroad to protecting their own power, redefining \u201cdemocracy\u201d to mean themselves.<\/p>\n

Or, as Musk puts it, a threat to \u201cdemocracy\u201d is really a threat to bureaucracy.<\/p>\n

The seven NGOs in the chart below, in my view, represent the Uniparty. Each of these organizations receives substantial financial support from USAID or the Department of State.<\/p>\n
