Social reform \u2013 on the backs of the citizens<\/strong><\/p>\nThe energy crises and price explosions throughout Europe are particularly affecting small and medium-sized businesses. While large corporations were cushioned by subsidies, small businesses, commuters, and families were left empty-handed \u2013 or slipped directly into insolvency.<\/p>\n
Now comes ETS-2 \u2013 the \u201csecond stage\u201d of the EU emissions trading system \u2013 and will once again make life significantly more expensive for millions of Europeans.<\/p>\n
Under the pretext of climate protection, a system is being installed that effectively amounts to a climate penalty tax for ordinary consumers. Payments are made to anonymous funds and green project partners, benefiting corporations, consultants, lobbyists, and political networks.<\/p>\n
Neither chosen nor wanted \u2013 but implemented without alternative<\/strong><\/p>\nParticularly controversial: No EU citizen voted on ETS-2. The new tax was introduced without public debate \u2013 embedded in the \u201cFit for 55<\/em>\u201d package and the \u201cGreen Deal<\/em>.\u201d The justification: compliance with international climate targets. The reality: social explosiveness and a further decoupling of politics from the people.<\/p>\nThe CO\u2082 tax affects everyone, but especially:<\/p>\n
\n- Households with oil heating or gas connection<\/li>\n
- Commuters in rural areas<\/li>\n
- Small businesses, agriculture, crafts<\/li>\n
- Low-income families<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Those who don’t immediately switch to heat pumps, electric cars, and smart meters will be left behind. Those who can’t afford it will be penalized.<\/p>\n
A system that thrives on disease \u2013 now on climate<\/strong><\/p>\nWhat began with covid and health control is now continuing with economic system control. The new CO\u2082 tax is more than an environmental instrument \u2013 it is a tool for controlling behaviour, redistributing wealth, and increasing citizens’ dependence on the state.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can’t build a CO\u2082 industry on the backs of free, energy-independent citizens<\/em>,\u201d critics say.<\/p>\n\u201cBut societies can be re-educated with coercion, debt, and taxes<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\nConclusion: Climate protection as a lever for power and redistribution<\/strong><\/p>\nThe EU climate tax is not only expensive \u2013 it is undemocratic, antisocial, and ideologically charged.<\/p>\n
Following energy price explosions, and supply chain crises, ETS-2 is the next major blow to Europe’s citizens.<\/p>\n
And as always: those who cannot defend themselves have to pay.<\/p>\n
