FBI Director Kash Patel announced that Dr. Anthony Fauci\u2019s seized cell phone and hard drives contain evidence of \u201ccrimes against humanity<\/em>\u201d tied to the covid-19 pandemic response. Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience<\/em> podcast, Patel described the discovery as a major breakthrough in the ongoing investigation into the pandemic\u2019s origins and federal misconduct.<\/p>\n

The recovered devices allegedly hold communications and documents that implicate Fauci in orchestrating harmful policies, according to Patel, though specific details remain classified. The FBI\u2019s probe, intensified under Patel\u2019s leadership, aims to uncover the full scope of alleged malfeasance, with sources claiming the evidence could lead to unprecedented legal consequences. Fauci has not publicly responded to these accusations.<\/p>\n

Dailymail.co.uk<\/em><\/a> reports: Patel said investigators had long struggled to locate the devices Fauci used while serving as chief medical advisor to the White House \u2013 records that could shed light on key decisions surrounding lockdowns, mask mandates, and ties between Fauci\u2019s former agency and the Wuhan laboratory central to the lab leak theory.<\/p>\n

During the podcast episode \u2013 where Patel and host Rogan touched on topics ranging from covid to UFOs \u2013 he revealed that the FBI had recovered the phone and hard drives just days before the interview was recorded.<\/p>\n

Patel warned against drawing premature conclusions, noting that \u201ceverything\u2019s not necessarily in there<\/em>\u201d and that potentially relevant data may have been erased. Still, he called the discovery \u201ca victory for the American people<\/em>\u201d and said his team is actively reviewing the contents of the devices.<\/p>\n

Patel said: \u201cWe found it [the devices], and at least we can tell the American people we\u2019ve been looking because it is of public importance to figure out, did that guy lie? <\/em><\/p>\n

Did he intentionally mislead the world and cause countless deaths?<\/em><\/p>\n

We owe those answers to the American people, and the best evidence ever is always the people\u2019s evidence who created it. So now we\u2019re going to go and exploit those hard drives<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe did find it [the cell phone], we\u2019re not done, we\u2019re still looking and we\u2019re on the case<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The FBI and CIA have both asserted they think covid most likely originated from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China, which was conducting risky experiments on coronaviruses in the years leading up to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Some of those experiments were funded by US taxpayer money through grants awarded by Dr Fauci\u2019s old department, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).<\/p>\n

Dr Fauci, once regarded as a professional amid a chaotic and confusing government response to the initial 2020 outbreak, has seen his sparkling public image take a hit in recent years.<\/p>\n

He flip-flopped on crucial covid safety information including masks and worked to silence scientists with views that differed from the mainstream.<\/p>\n

Leaked emails show that in early 2020, he commissioned a paper denouncing the theory as a conspiracy, then publicized the study at a White House news conference weeks later without disclosing his involvement.<\/p>\n

He and other public health experts also publicly dismissed the lab leak \u2013 with Dr Fauci saying in June 2021 that it was \u201ca very, very, very, very remote possibility<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

It later emerged that, as the head of the NIAID, he presided over the allocation of taxpayer-funded grants for virus-enhancing research at the WIV years before the pandemic began.<\/p>\n

A federal watchdog found the NIH \u201cdid not effectively monitor<\/em>\u201d those experiments or check whether they involved pathogens with pandemic risk.<\/p>\n

Dr Fauci also privately expressed concern the virus may have been the product of a research accident.<\/p>\n

Internationally, other intelligence agencies have also supported the lab-leak theory.<\/p>\n

The German Federal Intelligence Service (BND) carried out a secret investigation into the origins of covid nicknamed Project Saaremaa<\/em> during the pandemic, sharing the findings with the U.S. in December 2024.<\/p>\n

Investigators found unpublished dissertations from 2019 and 2020 that allegedly discussed the effects of coronaviruses on the human body.<\/p>\n

Additionally, uncovered materials revealed Chinese scientists had \u201can unusually large amount of knowledge about the supposedly novel virus available at an unusually early stage<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on the materials BND agents found and analysed, they used a \u201cProbability Index<\/em>\u201d to measure the reliability of information, which determined the lab-leak theory was \u201cprobable<\/em>\u201d with an \u201c80 to 95 percent<\/em>\u201d certainty.<\/p>\n

Robert Redfield, former CDC director when the pandemic erupted, also accused American and British health agencies of shutting down concerns over potential lab leaks.<\/p>\n

He previously told DailyMail.com<\/em> he is \u201c100 percent<\/em>\u201d convinced covid was the result of scientists becoming infected while carrying out high-risk experiments to boost the infectivity of bat viruses amid low biosecurity in Wuhan labs.<\/p>\n

Fauci has denied all accusations of covid being \u201ccovered up<\/em>\u201d or originating from a lab. In 2024, he told a U.S. House panel that he had not suppressed lab leak theories or influenced research to discredit it. He has also called accusations that he covered it up \u201cpreposterous<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Patel said: \u201cMy mission has always been to put out the truth, whatever the consequences, whoever it\u2019s against<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n
