A filmmaker behind a documentary allegedly exposing an \u201c80-year global cover-up<\/em>\u201d of extraterrestrial existence claimed that the U.S. government is part of a \u201csecret Cold War race<\/em>\u201d to reverse engineer extraterrestrial technology.<\/p>\n

Director and producer Dan Farah, who also produced the sci-fi blockbuster Ready Player One<\/em>, told Fox News<\/em>\u2019 Bret Baier that his newest film, The Age of Disclosure<\/em> leans into work already done by government whistleblowers \u2013 and even feature interviews with high-ranking officials like Secretary of State Marco Rubio<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery single person I interviewed made it very clear that it was no longer a question of whether this was a real situation. It’s a very real situation<\/em>,\u201d Farah told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Farah claimed that a majority of those within the US government, including Congress and the president, \u201chave been kept out of the loop<\/em>\u201d while other powers that be ran a secret race to \u201creverse engineer technology of non-human origins<\/em>,\u201d all in competition with \u201cadversarial nations<\/em>\u201d like Russia and China.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the last few years, senior members of Congress, senior members of the administration \u2013 thanks to whistleblowers \u2013 have found out what’s been going on, and they are now in pursuit of the truth for themselves and for the American people<\/em>,\u201d Farah told the network.<\/p>\n

Farah said that each person he interviewed over the three years spent making the film \u2013 including a whopping 34 senior members of the U.S. government, military and intelligence community \u2013 all had \u201cdirect knowledge of this issue<\/em>\u201d with \u201cextreme credibility<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some even appear in the trailer, including Rubio, who alludes to mystery entities entering \u201cairspace over restricted nuclear facilities<\/em>,\u201d and former Defense Intelligence Agency senior executive Jay Stratton.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe first country that cracks the code on this technology will be the leader for years to come<\/em>,\u201d Stratton warns in the trailer.<\/p>\n

Farah echoed Stratton’s alarm and asserted that joking about the power and source of UAPs, or Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena, is \u201cthe equivalent of laughing at a terroristic threat<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fear here is that if another nation wins this race, it could really change the lay of the land in terms of power<\/em>,\u201d Farah told the outlet. Farah additionally called the new-age UAP race \u201cthe Manhattan Project on steroids<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The United States’ secret testing and production of nuclear weapons during World War II was codenamed the Manhattan Project. The U.S.\u2019 show of force in dropping nuclear bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, which effectively crippled that leg of the Axis Powers, also served as a precursor to the Cold War.<\/p>\n

Farah decided to end on a bright note, though, and suggested that Donald Trump may likely be the first commander-in-chief to speak openly about the phenomena and alleged decades-long coverup.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it’s only a matter of time at this point before we have a sitting president step to the microphone and have the biggest moment a leader can possibly have, which is telling all of humanity that we’re not alone in the universe and that the United States intends to lead the way<\/em>,\u201d Farah told.<\/p>\n
