Kennedy Jr. \u2013 and authorized to sign donations in the nine-figure range.<\/p>\n<p>Today, looking back, she calls herself \u201c<em>a useful idiot of the Great Reset<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shanahan thus draws a conclusion that calls into question everything on which modern \u201c<em>progressive philanthropy<\/em>\u201d is built. Not the alleviation of social problems, not the empowerment of disadvantaged groups, not sustainable improvement \u2013 but a shift of power, money, and the authority to interpret events toward private networks of global actors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The pitfall of charity \u2013 not helping, but controlling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shanahan describes how a small, wealthy group of \u201c<em>tech mafia wives<\/em>\u201d has been drawn into the philanthropic system in recent years. With large budgets, a clear conscience, and well-defined political slogans: ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), inclusion, climate, social justice, diversity.<\/p>\n<p>These are terms that sound promising \u2013 and yet, according to Shanahan, they have become tools. Tools not to strengthen society, but to establish narratives and shift power to unelected structures.<\/p>\n<p>It confirms what critics have been claiming for years:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The whole model is broken. It makes everyone worse off.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Financial support flowed \u2013 but rarely to where actual progress was measurable. Instead, capital migrated into cycles of NGOs, advisory boards, foundation networks, and international forums.<\/p>\n<p>Glossy social programs, attractive logos, multi-million-dollar panels-while real problems worsened.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Crime: higher.<\/li>\n<li>Psychic health: worse.<\/li>\n<li>Quality of life: declining.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And whenever criticism arose, the killer reference was used:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>But climate<\/em>.\u201d \u201c<em>But social progress<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Slogans as a shield \u2013 no results as proof.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ideology devours reality<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shanahan describes how many wealthy female philanthropists felt morally empowered-as part of a movement to improve the world.<\/p>\n<p>But in reality, she says, they were being exploited.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We were used to lay the groundwork for Schwab&#8217;s Great Reset.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Not through coercion, but through narratives, social engineering, and social belonging.<br \/>\nInstead of progress, there was <em>the delegation of power<\/em> to technocratic structures.<br \/>\nInstead of democracy, there was <em>NGO governance<\/em>.<br \/>\nInstead of competition, there was <em>ESG compliance and political control of markets<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Desiree Fixler sums it up perfectly:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We got higher energy costs, devalued money, fewer jobs \u2013 and creeping control over how we live and speak<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those who disagree are considered \u201canti-science.\u201d<br \/>\nThose who debate are considered \u201cbackward.\u201d<br \/>\nDemocratic discourse has been replaced by morally charged dogmas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The crucial turning point: Success is not about money flow \u2013 but about results.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-218330\" src=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/218328_1-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"374\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/218328_1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yogaesoteric.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/218328_1.jpg 560w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Shanahan says today that she genuinely wanted to help, not just shift money around, but strengthen communities. But the opposite occurred \u2013 despite the billion-dollar framework.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>My version of success would have been for these communities to truly rise.
