Anything outside the approved frame is automatically tagged as \u201chostile influence<\/em>,\u201d \u201creflexive control<\/em>,\u201d or \u201ccognitive attack<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n The irony is unmistakable: this logic mirrors \u2013 almost symmetrically \u2013 the accusations levelled against Russia. Moscow, too, frames its actions as an existential struggle for consciousnesses, built around \u201cdefending traditional values<\/em>,\u201d \u201csovereignty<\/em>,\u201d and \u201cresistance to hegemony<\/em>.\u201d The difference lies in tools and access to global platforms. But the underlying premise is shared: whoever dominates the interpretation of reality wins \u2013 often without firing a shot.<\/p>\n The Only Real Question<\/strong><\/p>\n We have entered an era in which the object of military operations is increasingly not territory or resources but the very mechanisms by which people think and feel. The old vocabulary \u2013 propaganda, censorship, ideological indoctrination \u2013 now sounds dated. Today the same practices are repackaged as \u201cenhancing cognitive resilience<\/em>,\u201d \u201csafeguarding psychic space<\/em>,\u201d \u201csecuring superiority in perception<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n The only real question is who, exactly, is protecting that space \u2013 and from whom.
