After the recent summit between President Xi and President Putin in Beijing, it would be interesting to visit the predictions made about Russia and China by Edgar Cayce, an American clairvoyant, nearly a century ago.<\/p>\n

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 \u2013 January 3, 1945) was born in Kentucky and died in Virginia. He was known as the \u201cSleeping Prophet<\/em>\u201d and the father of holistic medicine during his lifetime.<\/p>\n

While in a self-induced, trance-like sleep state, Cayce delivered over 14,000 documented readings covering health diagnoses, reincarnation, ancient civilizations, as well as prophecies about the world.<\/p>\n

Despite his unorthodox psychic work, he remained a devout, lifelong Christian and Sunday school teacher. Today, his legacy is preserved by the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) in Virginia Beach.<\/p>\n

Cayce foretold numerous future historical events, scientific discoveries, and even climate events, including the independence of India from British rule, the return of Jews to the Middle East, and the outbreak of World War 2.<\/p>\n

In February 1925 and again in March 1929 (six months before the stock market crush), Cayce explicitly warned of a \u201cgreat disturbance in financial circles<\/em>,\u201d advising his followers to pull their money out of the stock market.<\/p>\n

In 1935, Cayce predicted a massive global conflict where \u201cAustrians, Germans, and later the Japanese<\/em>\u201d would join forces. This accurately named the Axis powers five years before the formal signing of the Tripartite Pact<\/em> in 1940.<\/p>\n

Cayce spoke extensively about a secretive, mystical Jewish cult called the Essenes and predicted their historical records would be uncovered.<\/p>\n

Two years after his death, in 1947, the Dead Sea Scrolls<\/em> were discovered in the Qumran Caves, east of Jerusalem, by a Bedouin shepherd, validating his detailed descriptions of the cult.<\/p>\n

In a 1927 reading, Cayce stated that the day would come when an accurate medical diagnosis could be made from a single drop of blood. At the time, this sounded like science fiction, but today we know such basic medical science as haematology and laboratory blood panels.<\/p>\n

Cayce predicted a massive restructuring and convergence of global communications technologies. Decades later, internet and smartphone have become an integral part of modern life.<\/p>\n

Cayce even foresaw major cyclical changes in global ocean temperatures and weather patterns, effectively describing what meteorologists later identified as the El Ni\u00f1o<\/em> and La Ni\u00f1a<\/em> climate phenomena.<\/p>\n

In the late 1920s and 1930s, Cayce predicted that a shifting of the Earth\u2019s magnetic poles would begin around the year 2000.<\/p>\n

According to data released by NASA\u2019s Goddard Space Flight Centre, a measurable shift in the Earth\u2019s gravitational field and magnetic core alignment did indeed become apparent in 1998, moving the poles closer together.<\/p>\n

Cayce predicted two sitting US presidents would die in the office in the 20th<\/sup> century, which turned out true with the death of FDR in 1945 and the assassination of JFK in 1963.<\/p>\n

On January 1, 1945, Cayce told those around him that he would be buried in four days. He suffered a stroke and died two days later, on January 3, with his funeral taking place exactly as he foresaw.<\/p>\n

Cayce\u2019s readings on the Middle East<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cayce often described the Middle East (specifically the lands surrounding Israel, Egypt, and Syria) as a spiritual epicentre of the world.<\/p>\n

He warned that global peace or conflict would always mirror the spiritual state of this specific region.<\/p>\n

In his readings, the physical strife in the Middle East was a reflection of the internal, spiritual conflict of humanity \u2013 specifically the battle between greed and unity.<\/p>\n

He predicted that true global peace would only manifest when the peoples of these lands recognized their shared spiritual origins, moving away from racial, religious, or purely material control.<\/p>\n

In his 700 readings on Atlantis, Cayce described the fall of Atlantis as the result of a war between the Sons of Belial<\/em> and the Children of the Law of One<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the Hebrew Bible<\/em> (Old Testament<\/em>), Belial<\/em> (\u05d1\u05b0\u05bc\u05dc\u05b4\u05d9\u05b7\u05bc\u05e2\u05b7\u05dc) means \u201cwithout worth<\/em>,\u201d \u201clawless<\/em>,\u201d or \u201cgood-for-nothing<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The phrase \u201cSons of Belial<\/em>\u201d is used multiple times throughout the Old Testament <\/em>to describe Israelites who turned away from God\u2019s law.<\/p>\n

In 1 Samuel 2:12<\/em>, the Israelite High Priest Eli\u2019s own sons are explicitly called \u201csons of Belial<\/em>\u201d because they abused their religious authority, stole sacrifices, and acted wickedly.<\/p>\n

In Deuteronomy 13<\/em>, God warns that if \u201cSons of Belial<\/em>\u201d arise \u201cfrom among Israel<\/em>\u201d to lead citizens astray into idolatry, those cities need to be destroyed.<\/p>\n

Was Cayce predicting the fate of Israel and the wars in the Middle East through his readings on Atlantis?<\/p>\n

Cayce\u2019s predictions about Russia and China<\/strong><\/p>\n

Edgar Cayce never physically visited China or Russia. He spent his entire life living and working within the United States, primarily traveling between Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia.<\/p>\n

However, China and Russia feature very prominently in his famous trance-state prophecies.<\/p>\n

While his physical travels were entirely domestic, his followers believe his clairvoyant readings allowed him to perceive the global destinies of these distant nations.<\/p>\n

The Russia Prophecy<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the 1930s and 1940s, Cayce predicted that Russia would eventually shed communism and become a beacon of freedom.<\/p>\n

In a reading delivered in 1944 \u2013 at the height of World War II and Joseph Stalin\u2019s oppressive regime \u2013 Cayce made a highly counter-intuitive statement about the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n

He declared that \u201cout of Russia will come the hope of the world<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cayce explicitly clarified that this hope would not stem from communism or Bolshevik rule. Instead, he described a future, reborn Russia rooted in true freedom and mutual care, famously stating it would be a form of community where \u201ceach man will live for his fellow man<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

He predicted Russia would develop a spiritual foundation based on the pure, practical teachings of Christ \u2013 not an organized religion, but a baseline of global brotherhood and collective responsibility.<\/p>\n

The China Prophecy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cayce made highly unexpected claims about China\u2019s spiritual future during a time when the country was deeply fractured by civil conflict.<\/p>\n

He predicted that civilization would continue to move westward and that China would eventually become \u201cChristian, as applied in the lives of men<\/em>\u201d meaning a place where spiritual principles would be lived out in practical daily actions.<\/p>\n

Cayce did not mean China would convert to Western, dogmatic church structures. Rather, he meant the Chinese people would manifest the \u201cChrist Consciousness<\/em>\u201d \u2013 living with deep compassion, mercy, and communal harmony.<\/p>\n

He noted that China\u2019s historical spiritual sin or hurdle was quietude and self-satisfaction (isolationism). He predicted that once the Chinese people overcame this passivity and woke up to their potential, they would progress rapidly.<\/p>\n
