He contacted US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth directly via virtual communication networks after evidence surfaced that the new mRNA flu vaccine was apparently being made mandatory in several parts of the armed forces. Fisher called on the Department to stop this practice.<\/p>\n<p>The official response came from Under-Secretary of State Anthony Tata, who, on behalf of the War Department, stated that the mRNA flu vaccine could not be used by any military entity. While the new mRNA flu vaccine is not permitted for use within the armed forces, it continues to be portrayed as safe and effective for the general population.<\/p>\n<p>The American physician Mary Talley Bowden therefore posed a fundamental question: If the vaccine is not suitable for soldiers, why should it be offered to the rest of the population without appropriate reservations?<\/p>\n<p>American lawyer Tom Renz also criticized the decision. According to him, the US military only had to admit that the mRNA flu vaccine could not be used on military personnel after considerable public resistance.<\/p>\n<p>Renz sees this as a contradiction to the public communication of the authorities, who continue to describe the preparations in question as safe and effective. He went even further in his criticism, explicitly calling the vaccine a \u201c<em>poison<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The central question posed by critics is why different rules apply to members of the armed forces than to the civilian population.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Former soldier reports on changed trust<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Harry Fisher also based his initiative on his own experiences. As a young soldier, he had received all the required vaccinations because he trusted that he was contributing to the common good. His attitude today is different. As a trained paramedic who is confronted daily with the consequences of medical decisions, he now views such measures more critically.<\/p>\n<p>For Fisher, this is not about a fundamental rejection of medical treatments, but about the question of whether government regulations and recommendations should be adopted without independent review.<\/p>\n<p>The decision by the US War Department brings renewed attention to this discussion.
