At this time, according to Yale Medicine, the mRNA shots from Pfizer and Moderna have not been directly linked to blood clot formation, unlike the non-mRNA drug from Johnson & Johnson. However, conditions that the mRNA covid shots are linked to, such as myocarditis, may lead to blood clots in some individuals, suggesting a possible connection between the Pfizer jab and clotting problems.<\/p>\n
Pfizer\u2019s Eliquis brings in a cool $9 billion per year in profits, considerably greater than competing blood-thinning products from companies like Bayer and Johnson & Johnson.<\/p>\n
In case you were wondering, DVT and PE currently occur at an estimated rate of 1 or 2 per 1,000 adults (900,000 people) per year, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). \u2022 Sudden shortness of breath
\n\u2022 Chest pain that often gets worse with breathing
\n\u2022 Heart palpitations (irregular heartbeat that feels fluttery, racing, or skipping)
\n\u2022 Anxiety
\n\u2022 Dizziness and lightheadedness (fainting might occur)
\n\u2022 Coughing or coughing up blood
\n\u2022 Sudden and unusual sweating
\n\u2022 Low blood pressure (hypotension).<\/p>\n
