A lot angrier. Hateful comments spike on social media when temperatures rise above 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit), researchers at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research have found<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s an indicator of how well people can adapt to high temperatures<\/em>,\u201d claimed Annika Stechemesser, lead author of the study. \u201cIf temperatures go too hot or too cold, we found that there\u2019s an increase in online hate speech, no matter the socioeconomic differences, religion or political beliefs<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cOur results show that if September is particularly hot, we can expect to see more hate on Twitter<\/em>,\u201d said Stechemesser. \u201cYou\u2019ll have more hateful behavior if you find yourself in a certain temperature range. This wacky new study in Lancet is at odds with 1941 research showing that people get \u2018more docile\u2019 during warm weather. Maybe \u2018global warming\u2019 is the reason Americans did not push back harder on unscientific and draconian covid restrictions<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n Once again, literally everything either causes climate change or is affected by it, including online attitudes.<\/p>\n What is worse, however, is that the globalist elite are using bogus \u2018scientific studies\u2019 like this one to make all sorts of flaky and dangerous policies, such as ending the use of fossil fuels too quickly before they can be replaced with cheaper, viable alternatives (and it isn\u2019t wind and solar).<\/p>\n Noted author Michael Shellenberger, who writes about and tracks this climate nonsense, recently testified before Congress and pushed back on efforts by the Biden regime and the Democrat-controlled Congress to rapidly shift to \u2018green\u2019 energy and electric vehicles at the cost of our current fossil fuel infrastructure.<\/p>\n \u201cU.S. carbon emissions declined 22% between 2005 and 2020, global emissions were flat over the last decade, and weather-related disasters have declined since the beginning of this century. There is no scientific scenario for mass death from climate change. A far more immediate and dangerous threat is insufficient energy supplies due to U.S. government policies and actions aimed at reducing oil and gas production<\/em>,\u201d he testified during a recent House hearing.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Biden administration claims to be doing all it can to increase oil and natural gas production but it\u2019s not. It has issued fewer leases for oil and gas production on federal lands than any other administration since World War II. It blocked the expansion of oil refining.
