Former CIA analyst: Donald Trump sends Vladimir Putin a subtle message
Many see Donald Trump as unpredictable, but at his meeting with the Florida Panthers, winners of the 2024 Stanley Cup, he sent a clear message.

The focus was on Sergei Bobrovsky, the team’s Russian goalkeeper. Trump not only praised him as an athlete, but also sent a specific message to Putin and the Russian people: he does not want to see Russia as an enemy and is striving to end the war.
This gesture was no accident. Trump even left the podium to shake Bobrowski’s hand – a clear symbolic approach. At the same time, diplomatic signals are increasing that negotiations with Russia are underway. His chief negotiator, General Kellogg, recently stressed that Ukraine needs to hold elections – a point that Kremlin spokesman Peskov immediately took up.
From minute 7:30 to 8:25:
Trump relies on control instead of chaos
Unlike in 2017, this time Trump seems to have come into office with a specific agenda against the deep state. In particular, he started with the USAID, the US Agency for International Development. This organization experienced an explosive increase in its budget, especially during Obama and Trump’s first terms in office:
- 1990: 7.7 billion dollars
- 2010: 14.1 billion dollars
- 2019: 41.7 billion dollars
Why was USAID funded so heavily during Trump’s first term in office? Was he aware of this, or was it uncontrolled? One aspect is certain: USAID played a central role in CIA-supported color revolutions and regime changes. Now, with the agency’s closure, many NGOs that profited from these projects are panicking.
Trump appears determined to expose and dismantle the deep state structures. It remains to be seen whether he will succeed or whether he will again encounter resistance from within his own apparatus.
