Cows suddenly collapse after receiving Bovaer to combat climate emissions

Since October 1st, farmers in Denmark have been feeding their cows Bovaer to reduce climate emissions. This is part of a regulation mandating methane-reducing feed.

Suddenly, farmers are reporting that something is wrong with their cows. They are producing less milk. Some cows even collapsed and had to be euthanized.

Now there are suspicions that Bovaer could be the cause. Farmers experimented and stopped feeding the cows Bovaer. And lo and behold, the cows recovered. But as soon as they received Bovaer again, the problems reappeared.

The situation is so serious that the National Association of Danish Milk Producers has launched an investigation.

“We receive a lot of calls from people who are dissatisfied with what is going on in their herds,” says Kjartan Poulsen, chairman of the dairy producers’ association.

“That’s not the purpose. It’s meant to have a climate impact, and if cows die as a result or produce less milk, then the effect is ominous,” he added.

Kjartan Poulsen is now also calling on the Minister of Agriculture in Denmark to introduce a “time-out” so that the industry can find out what is really going on.

Under the new regulations, farmers are also allowed to give their cows feed with a high fat content, which can also reduce methane.

Here’s the problem: It’s unbelievable that this chemical was approved for use on cows, given its actual toxicity. The chemical is classified as CORROSIVE, FLAMMABLE, IRRITANT, and a HEALTH HAZARD!

According to official data sheets, it is also suspected of harming fertility of women drinking the cows’ milk or the unborn child. It even carries a reproductive toxicity warning.

At high doses, it even reduced the size of the ovaries in cows.

Farmers must wear protective clothing when handling the substance.

A farmer has now spoken out publicly to warn against Bovaer, as he believes that feeding this substance violates animal welfare laws.

Danish farmer Huibert Van Dorp reports that some of his cows have high fevers and are lethargic.

“Since the beginning, we have had cases where they suffered severe abdominal cramps, their rumen simply bloated. Recently, a veterinarian came to treat the cow, but her life could not be saved,” said Huibert Van Dorp in an interview.

He also heard from other farmers about problems with inflammation and cows that could no longer stand up.

I don’t know about you, but if cows are collapsing because of this chemical, which is known to be toxic, and farmers have to wear protective clothing, then I really don’t want to consume milk or other dairy products from such cows.

And the only reason they feed this to the cows is to reduce their flatulence and thus lower climate emissions. I can’t believe how stupid this idea is.
