Epstein, Western decline and the moral collapse of the elites

January 2026 marked a turning point. It is no longer possible to treat the Epstein case as a sexual scandal involving powerful persons. What has now come to light – documents, images, files, explicit connections – has elevated the debate to a different level. It is no longer about “abuse,” “excesses,” or “personal crimes.” What has been revealed points to systematic, organized, ritualized practices. And that transforms everything.

For years, the public has been conditioned to accept a narrative of uncertainty. There has always been doubt, always a lack of definitive proof, always a call for caution. Those days are over. The published material leaves no room for naiveté. When evidence emerges of extreme violence against children, of practices beyond any conventional criminal category, the discussion ceases to be legal and becomes a civilizing one.

What’s at stake is no longer who “visited the island” or who “took a flight on Epstein’s plane.” What’s at stake is the fact that networks of this kind can only exist when they are secured by deep institutional protection. There is no ritualized paedophilia, no transnational human trafficking, no systematic production of extreme material without political, police, legal, and media cover. This is not a conspiracy: it is the logic of power.

From this point on, the West can no longer hide behind the idea of gradual decline. It’s not simply a matter of cultural degeneration or a loss of values.

It is something darker: an elite that operates outside all discernible moral boundaries and yet continues to rule. People who are directly or indirectly connected to this world continue to decide elections, wars, economic policies, and the fate of entire societies.

The uncomfortable truth, which is impossible to ignore, is that all of this could be part of an deep and macabre plan by the Deep State – which includes both Democrats and Republicans – to “solve” the “Epstein problem” through a brutal campaign of collective desensitization by “normalizing” in public opinion the notion that the Western elite consists of paedophiles, Satanists, and cannibals.

This underlines a crucial point: The truth only came to light because it was no longer useful to keep it hidden.

For decades, all of this was known behind the scenes. The silence was not the result of a failure of the investigations, but rather the result of a decision at the highest level.

The press remained silent. The authorities remained silent. The courts remained silent.

The system functioned exactly as it was supposed to – all to protect itself.

Western societies now face a dilemma that cannot be resolved through elections, parliamentary commissions, or encouraging speeches. How can they continue to accept the authority of institutions that have shielded this level of horror? How can they maintain respect for laws that are selectively applied by those who are above them? How, after all this, can they still speak of “Western values”?

The problem is that the modern West has forgotten how to respond to something that is base and essentially evil. In Western societies, people no longer know how to deal with absolute evil – especially when it resides at the top of society. Everything becomes procedure, everything mediation, everything technical language. Meanwhile, social trust evaporates.

It’s no longer about left and right, liberalism and conservatism. It’s about a rift between people and elites.

Between societies that still retain a certain sense of boundaries, and a ruling class that acts as if it were outside the common human species.

If there is anything good about this moment, it is the end of public’s naivety and the uncovering of elite’s hideous crimes.

It is no longer possible to pretend that the system is “sick but curable.” What remains of the Western (anti-)civilizational project has been eroded from within. What comes next is still uncertain – and will be fought for with all possible and necessary means.

But one aspect is clear: After Epstein, nothing can go back to the way it was before. Anyone who pretends that nothing has transformed either doesn’t understand the implications of what has come to light, or is only pretending not to.
