It’s no longer a secret: Harvard researchers speak openly about an advanced civilization originating from the depths of the Earth

Researchers from Harvard and Montana Technological University are suggesting a new perspective on UFO phenomena, also known as unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP). They talk about the existence of an advanced civilization, hidden either beneath the Earth’s crust or in the depths of the oceans, whose members have been called “cryptoterrestrials.”

According to this hypothesis, “cryptoterrestrials” could be descendants of an extinct advanced human civilization or evolved non-human beings who live in hard-to-reach places, such as volcanoes or the ocean floor. The authors of the study claim that some of the UFO sightings, including those reported by military personnel or sailors, could be due to the advanced technology of these unknown civilizations.

Sightings of unidentified underwater objects moving at high speeds, such as a 1987 incident in which a New Zealand military vessel was allegedly followed by a 240-meter-long object, are cited as examples. These phenomena may have an unknown terrestrial source. Researchers hypothesize that certain UFO “hotspots” such as the Popocatépetl volcano in Mexico or Mount Shasta in California may conceal bases of this advanced civilization.

Also, Dr. Shirley Wright, a former assistant to Albert Einstein, allegedly claimed that in 1947 she saw beings that could have come from an alleged UFO incident at Roswell, which she described as “humans, but an advanced form” living underground. Although the theory is controversial and difficult to accept in the scientific community, researchers believe that certain characteristics of UAP phenomena cannot be explained by known human technology.

The probability of the existence of such a civilization is estimated at about 10%, with the event also supported by unconfirmed sources, including legends such as that of Atlantis. The study has been accepted for publication in the journal Philosophy and Cosmology, highlighting academic interest in the idea, even though it is generally considered unlikely.
