We really are living in the end times and 2025 will be a nightmare
Many people seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding of where we are in the big picture. We are not living in a time of peace and prosperity. Instead, we are living in a time of war, famine, plague, and major natural disasters. We are truly living in the end times, and the coming year will be marked by one crisis after another. The good news is that you will be there. All of human history has been preparing for this special chapter, and you are one of the lucky ones to experience it.
According to the Institute for Economics & Peace, the number of currently active military conflicts is the highest we have seen since World War II:
“Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Syria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Colombia and so on. There are as many as 56 active conflicts in the world, the highest number since World War II. Moreover, these conflicts have an increasingly international component, with 92 countries involved in wars outside their borders. This data comes from the latest Global Peace Index, produced annually by the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP), a think tank that analyzes everything from military spending and the cost of violence to military laws and deaths in combat in 163 states and territories. ‘It’s challenging to get this information, but it allows us to compare dynamics. And what we’re seeing is a deterioration in peace over the last decade, particularly the last five years,’ says Michael Collins, executive director of the IEP.”
In fact, there have been several other extremely alarming developments lately. This time next year, our world will look very different than it does now. Leaders around the world have developed a really bad “war fever,” and we are closer to nuclear war than ever before.
Meanwhile, hunger continues to increase in many regions of the world.
If you have enough to eat, you should be very grateful, because there are tens of millions of starving people who would trade places with you in a heartbeat.
In fact, in the nation of Sudan alone, there are tens of millions of people battling severe hunger at this very moment:
“More than half of the country’s 50 million inhabitants suffer from severe hunger, and it is estimated that hundreds die every day as a result of hunger and related diseases.”
According to Reuters, a woman named Fleg walks two hours each way every day just to collect a few leaves so she can fill her stomach with a “barely edible mush”:
“Every day after sunrise, Fleg and other emaciated women from the camp make the two-hour trek into a forest to collect leaves from bushes. On a recent trip, several ate the leaves raw to satisfy their hunger. Back at the camp, the women boiled the leaves and cooked them in a pot of water sprinkled with tamarind seeds to soften the bitter taste.
For Fleg and thousands of others in the camp, the barely edible porridge is a staple food. It is not enough. Some have starved to death, say the camp’s medical staff. Fleg’s mother is one of them.
‘I came here and found nothing to eat,’ said Fleg. ‘There are days when I don’t know if I’m alive or dead’.”
This is how people really live on the other side of the planet.
Hunger is increasing worldwide, but most Westerners don’t care because they aren’t affected.
I believe that world hunger will be even worse in 2025, and I am convinced that plague will also be a major issue next year.
Many of us are watching the bird flu very closely. It is reported that the number of confirmed human cases in the state of California this year has now reached 31:
“The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) warned residents on Nov. 27 about a second batch of raw milk on retail shelves that tested positive for the bird flu virus, while authorities await the results of the latest mass milk tank testing at the Fresno County farm that produces the products.
In other developments, the CDPH reported two more infections among dairy farmers, bringing the number of human cases in the state this year to 31, with all but one linked to contact with sick cows. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed these two new cases, bringing the number of cases nationwide this year to 55.”
Will this be the next major public health crisis?
Scientists are also deeply concerned about outbreaks of the Marburg virus, a new strain of Mpox and Oropouch:
“Travelers have been warned about the spread of three diseases, including the Marburg virus, a close relative of Ebola, also known as the ‘bleeding eye’ virus due to one of its symptoms.
Marburg, Mpox and Oropouch (commonly known as ‘sloth fever’) are spreading in several countries, according to the UK Department of Health’s Travel Health Pro website.
Marburg is a rare but ‘severe hemorrhagic fever that can cause severe illness and death,’ according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control. However, there is no treatment or vaccine for it. According to the Africa CDC, early detection and supportive care with rehydration and symptomatic treatment improves the chance of survival.”
I know many people don’t want to hear this, but what is ultimately coming to us will be much worse than the last pandemic.
We also live in a time when we are hit by one major natural disaster after another.
In 2023, the number of “billion dollar disasters” in the United States set a record, and we were on the verge of breaking that record this year:
“Including the three most recent Atlantic hurricanes, the United States has experienced 24 weather and climate disasters worth $24 billion this year—a near-record number, according to NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI).
Recently, NOAA’s NCEI released its assessment of global climate, including weather disasters in the U.S. Hurricanes Debby, Helene and Milton, as well as a tornado outbreak, were added to this year’s weather and climate disasters with billions of dollars in damage, bringing the total to 24 events in October.
According to the NCEI, this year’s weather and climate disasters, with billions of dollars in damage, are second only to those of last year, which recorded 27 such disasters at this time of year.”
Of course, many people out there just want to hear that everything will be rosy and lollipop-like from now on.
However, the times we live in are going to be extremely challenging. God told us history in advance and that this is very powerful evidence for the Christian faith. If you can show someone that God told us very specific aspects about the times we live in centuries in advance, it will be very difficult for that person to ignore the gospel.
So many “experts” give us their opinions about what our future will look like. But if you want to know what our future will look like, just read the book of Revelation. We are the generation of Revelation, and there is no other time in all of human history that I would rather have lived than now.
