Flu vaccine failed yet again as new wild strain appeared halfway through the past flu season

A scary influenza strain that reportedly “popped up halfway through the past flu season” once again rendered the government-sanctioned flu vaccine “virtually worthless”.

Writing for the Associated Press (AP), Mike Stobbe explained that the flu shot, which is recommended every year by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to prevent flu infection, turned out to be “a big disappointment” because it was a mismatch for the newly-appeared flu strain.

While the CDC had previously claimed that the flu shot was about 47 percent effective as of last February, this effectiveness rate dropped to a mere 29 percent following the emergence of the past new flu strain, which easily bypassed the flu shot as if people didn’t even get it.

A second, and even more virulent flu strain reportedly emerged not long after that, which reduced the flu shot’s effectiveness even more to a mere nine percent, which Stobbe says rendered it “virtually worthless.”

Even the CDC’s own Brendan Flannery admitted that, because of the emergence of these two flu strains halfway through flu season, the CDC-recommended flu shots were deemed as providing “no significant protection” against the flu – meaning it was a total waste for people to receive them.

“This season’s shot turned out to be a mismatch against the bug that showed up late,” Stobbe also admited, adding that flu shots are developed every year based on “predictions” as to which flu strains will circulate during the upcoming season.

Based on the government’s own metrics, the flu shot is always useless and ineffective

Interestingly, the government considers vaccines effective so long as they work at least 90 percent of the time. But in the case of the flu shot, it’s never more than about 40 percent effective, at best, which means it’s certifiably useless.

This is according to the federal government’s own guidelines, which Stobbe reiterated in his article as he declared that making flu shots work is “particularly challenging.” Because “the virus can so quickly change,” there’s really no way to make a truly effective flu vaccine, he admited.

Even so, the CDC and other government officials still urge everyone six months of age or older to get a flu shot – because pushing ineffective flu shots means lots of money for Big Pharma and Big Vaccine.

“Since 2011, the only season with a lower estimate was the winter of 2014-2015, when effectiveness was 19%,” Stobbe revealed. “A mismatch was also blamed then.”

Stobbe writes that the CDC bases vaccine effectiveness on the jab’s ability to reduce the number of severe flu cases that require hospitalization. But even this is a misnomer, as peer-reviewed science has already long proven that flu shots are not effective at bringing about such reductions.

What this all goes to show, once again, is that the US government routinely lies about the safety and effectiveness of flu shots in order to hoodwink as many people as possible into getting jabbed with them – all while quietly admitting in articles such as those written by Mike Stobbe that flu shots don’t actually work.

“Virtually no one administering vaccines ever explains the risks vs. benefits of vaccines as is required under medical ethics and state medical law,” wrote Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, warning that flu shots contain much higher levels of toxic mercury (thimerosal) than health authorities are admitting.

“In nearly all cases, patients are simply hoodwinked and told there are no risks at all.”
