October 1st, 2004: Yoga practitioner magistrate discredited

Bucharest, October 1st, 2004. MISA yoga school denounces the way in which the investigators created sensation around the case of MISA and its leader Gregorian Bivolaru.

It can not be a coincidence the fact that in the very day of Gregorian Bivolaru’s trial the representatives of the Supreme Council of Magistracy are investigating publicly a judge who practices yoga for a supposed video record in which she appeared in indecent attitudes. The fact that a thorough verification (technical expertise) of the filmed material was not carried out before making public the serious charges against a magistrate demonstrates once more the zeal of the prosecutors to blame any person who practices yoga in spite of the lack of evidence, even if she is one of their colleagues.

This press scandal designed to be detrimental to the image of MISA yoga school in Romania, as well as to the image of a magistrate who practices yoga, proves once more the discriminations to which the yogis are subjected in Romania.

MISA will press charges against all those guilty of this abuse to the Supreme Council of Magistracy, as well as to the Law Courts, according to the Law no. 27/2004 for fighting against all forms of discrimination.
