Surprise, surprise: Bibi discovers “secret Iranian nuclear weapons factory” in Iran
What the media is hiding from you:
Iran has persuaded the Houthis to agree to a ceasefire with U.S. to build momentum for this weekend’s nuclear talks in Oman (May 17-18). Two Iranian officials said Tehran encouraged the Houthis to stop their attacks on US facilities, arguing that it was in Iran’s interest to reduce tensions to advance nuclear negotiations.
Here’s the report from a Times of Israel article:
“Iran has reportedly relied on the Yemeni Houthis rebel group to secure a ceasefire with the United States over attacks in the Red Sea, hoping to advance negotiations on a deal over Tehran’s nuclear program.
U.S. President Donald Trump announced an end to hostilities with the Houthis, surprising Israeli officials. The statement made no mention of the Houthis’ ongoing rocket and drone attacks on Israel, and representatives of the Yemeni rebel group assured that these attacks would continue.
Two Iranian officials, one from the Foreign Ministry and one from the Revolutionary Guard, said, according to the New York Times, that Iran had persuaded the Houthis to stop their attacks on US facilities as part of Oman’s mediation efforts.
CNN, citing people familiar with the matter, said Trump’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, worked with the Omanis to broker the ceasefire between the US and the Houthis. The sources said the ceasefire should also help build momentum for nuclear talks with Iran, which Witkoff is also leading on behalf of the Trump administration.”
What does this mean?
It means Iran is using its influence with allies in the region to contain the fighting (and open up vital shipping lanes) in the hope that this will improve the chances of reaching a nuclear agreement with America. (Trump has stated that war is the only option if no agreement can be reached.)
Naturally, these developments frighten Israel, as it relies on U.S. support for an attack on Iran. But if Trump goes ahead and makes a deal with Iran (without informing Bibi, as he did with the Houthis), then Israel’s dream of defeating Iran and emerging as the dominant power in the region will become impossible. In short, Israel needs U.S. support in any future conflict with Iran, which means it must pre-emptively sabotage the nuclear negotiations. If the negotiations fail, Trump will join Israel in airstrikes against Iran. That’s the scenario Netanyahu wants.
So it should come as no surprise that less than 48 hours after Trump’s agreement with the Houthis, two suspicious incidents occurred that suggest Israel is (desperately) taking steps to sabotage the negotiations. First, there is this excerpt from an article in the Times of Israel:
“Eight Iranian men arrested in the United Kingdom over the weekend are suspected of plotting an attack on the Israeli embassy in London, according to an unconfirmed report in The Times newspaper.
‘Police have refused to provide details of the alleged plot, but it is understood that the embassy was the primary target,’ the report said, without citing sources.
Commander Dominic Murphy, head of the London Police’s counter-terrorism unit, said earlier that ‘the investigation is still at an early stage and we are pursuing various leads to determine possible motives and whether there are any further risks to the public in connection with this matter.’
British media reported growing speculation that the seven Iranians and one other person arrested over the weekend were ‘only hours’ away from carrying out an attack on a synagogue or site with links to the Jewish community in London, although there was no confirmation of these reports.”
Right on time (less than two days after Trump signed the agreement with the Houthis), an incident occurs for which there are no verifiable facts or evidence, and not a single official who could confirm the alleged events. Yet, this incident paints the Iranians as demented terrorists bent on killing Jews. That’s the intended message, isn’t it? And if they are murderous maniacs, then they certainly can’t be trusted on such a serious matter as nuclear energy. That’s exactly how Israeli propaganda works.
A second report appeared on Fox News just hours before the alleged terrorist attack in London was foiled. Here’s an excerpt:
“Fox News has exclusively obtained satellite images that an opposition group says show a previously unknown Iranian nuclear weapons facility, raising new concerns amid ongoing negotiations between Tehran and the Trump administration.
The newly identified site in Iran’s Semnan province is far from the regime’s already known nuclear facilities. According to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), intelligence from sources inside the country indicates a sprawling site of nearly 2,500 acres.
The facility, codenamed Rainbow Site by Iranian officials, is said to have been in operation for more than a decade and is disguised as a chemical company called Diba Energy Siba.”
Despite wielding the most advanced surveillance systems in the world Fox News would have you believe that the US JUST discovered a new Nuclear facility in Iran producing weapons-grade material. How very WMD of you. pic.twitter.com/tt7jLfPpQC

The same unverified claims have been published by a number of other traditional media outlets, helping to pave the way for war with Iran. Consider this excerpt from a Newsweek article:
“At a press conference held at their offices in Washington, DC, officials from the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) claimed that the Iranian Ministry of Defense’s Defense Innovation and Research Organization was secretly conducting nuclear weapons-related research at a site called the Rainbow Site in the Ivanaki region of the north-central Semnan province.
The MeK is the leading faction of the NCRI and claims to have an extensive network of members and operatives within the Islamic Republic. The MeK is designated a terrorist organization by Iran due to its past involvement in violent attacks and was also considered a terrorist organization by the United States until its removal from the list of terrorist organizations in 2012.”
It might have been helpful if the author had pointed out that the MEK, or Mujahedin-e-Khalq, is a shadowy sect that was on the U.S. State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations until 2012, and that nothing they say is credible. But whatever.
It is also worth noting that our own U.S. intelligence agencies have repeatedly stated that Iran does not possess nuclear weapons or a nuclear weapons program. Nor has the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) ever found that Iran diverted enriched uranium for a weapons program or violated the terms of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Iran has played by the rules from the very beginning and strictly adhered to its treaty obligations at all times. It has consistently demonstrated transparency, cooperation, and honesty. Iran’s record is spotless. (Of course, Newsweek didn’t think it necessary to mention this, preferring to publish the absurd claims of a fanatical sect of crackpots.)
So why is Israel so determined to start a war against Iran when it knows that it is not building nuclear weapons?
For the same reason it supported the wars against Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, etc.: because Israel cannot become a regional hegemonic power until all potential rivals are destroyed, fragmented, and reduced to rubble. This is the fundamental strategy: the destruction of the entire region, leaving Israel as the last survivor. Iran is the final obstacle on the path to Greater Israel.
Iranian leaders understand what’s going on and have explained this to their followers on X. Unfortunately, they don’t have the Western media resources Israel does, making it almost impossible to spread their message. But they know what Israel is up to and what to expect next. Read this commentary by Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, published shortly after the Fox report:
“The attempts by the Israeli regime and certain interest groups to torpedo diplomacy with various tactics are obvious to all.
Our security services are on high alert in light of previous attempts at sabotage and assassination designed to provoke a legitimate response.
It is also to be expected that those seeking to manipulate public opinion will come up with fantastic claims and props such as terrifying satellite images.
Reality: Every single milligram of enriched uranium in Iran is under the complete and constant supervision and monitoring of the IAEA.”
Repeat: “Our security services are on high alert in light of previous attempts at sabotage and assassinations designed to provoke a legitimate response.”
So the Iranian Foreign Minister is expecting a false flag operation?
That certainly sounds like it.
Nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran will resume on Sunday, May 18, in Oman. So far, all parties have expressed cautious optimism about the outcome. Both Iranian and American diplomats believe an agreement can be reached that satisfies both sides and (finally) resolves the nuclear issue. The last major obstacle is Israel, which seems to be keen to do something extremely violent and reckless to torpedo the negotiations and prevent a lasting peace.
Bibi is desperate. Anything is possible.
