Worldwide “beneficial extraterrestrial healing” encounters: Seven cases of reported extraterrestrial medical intervention

Accounts of unexplained healing have appeared throughout UFO and extraterrestrial encounter literature for decades. Witnesses have described cancer disappearing, injuries rapidly improving, and unseen damage being repaired through strange lights, instruments, energy, or direct contact with humanoid beings.

The following seven cases span several countries and very different circumstances. Some are detailed experiencer accounts, others are documented UFO incidents with multiple witnesses, and several originated in sensational media reports that remain impossible to verify.

Witness Reports

Aguada, Puerto Rico: Humanoid Encounter Followed by Cancer Remission

The first case involves a woman named Maria M. Rivera, who lived with her family in Aguada, Puerto Rico. For years, Maria and members of her family reported encounters with unknown humanoids in and around their property, which was surrounded by tropical forest.

Maria documented a number of unusual experiences. One of the most extraordinary involved her long history of cancer and an encounter that occurred on April 28, 2006.

A History of Recurring Cancer

Maria stated:

“It is important to note that I had ovarian cancer and underwent several operations that required the removal of portions of my intestine. I also had multiple operations for breast cancer.

I occasionally flew to New York City to see my private doctors because some private physicians here on the island were reluctant to accept the insurance coverage I had through my husband’s retirement.

My doctors in New York informed me that the cancer had returned and that I urgently needed another operation. I was in constant stomach pain and noticed blood when I went to the bathroom.

This was not the first recurrence. The cancer had returned before, and I underwent surgery after each recurrence.”

The April 2006 Encounter

Maria did not provide complete details of the encounter in this portion of her statement, but she associated her subsequent medical improvement with the humanoid beings that her family had reported around their property.

“After the encounter with those creatures on April 28, 2006, I returned to New York. Several tests were performed, and no cancer was detected. The pain and bleeding had also stopped.”

Benevolence of the Beneficial Extraterrestrials

Maria remained convinced that the entities had intervened, although her feelings toward them were complicated.

“I truly feel that those creatures cured me. What is my opinion of them? I sincerely believe they are benevolent and compassionate creatures.”

No medical records were provided with the account, so the reported remission and its cause cannot be independently verified. Maria’s reaction, however, reflects a recurring pattern in experiencer testimony: gratitude for a perceived healing.

Qinhuangdao, China: The “Extraterrestrial Energy” Investigation

In December 1999, a middle-aged Beijing man named Cao Gong claimed that he had been transported aboard a UFO to the Qinhuangdao region of Hebei Province.

Cao said that he encountered a young Chinese girl aboard the craft. According to different versions of the story, the beings used what was described as “extraterrestrial energy” to cure the girl of an unspecified illness.

An Independent Investigation

In 2000, Chinese UFO investigator Zhang Jingping began examining Cao’s account. Zhang reportedly arranged for Cao to undergo hypnosis and a polygraph examination.

Cao was said to have passed the polygraph, although such examinations cannot establish that an extraordinary event actually occurred. They can only indicate whether the subject appears to believe what he or she is saying under the conditions of the test.

The case remains unresolved.

Kirtland, Ohio: Mysterious Figure Appears Behind Girl with Leukaemia

In May 2013, the family of a young girl named Erin Potter examined a photograph taken in their backyard in Kirtland, Ohio.

Erin had been fighting leukaemia since February 2007 and had undergone extensive medical treatment, including bone marrow transplants. At the time the photograph was taken, the family had learned that the cancer had returned for a third time and that Erin would require a second transplant.

The Photograph

The image showed Erin running with sparklers. Behind her appeared a luminous, humanlike form that some observers interpreted as a religious figure.

Erin’s mother, Jen Potter, said her immediate reaction was that the figure resembled the Virgin Mary.

The family did not necessarily interpret the image as proof that Erin would recover. Instead, they viewed it as reassurance that she was being watched over during an extremely difficult period.

Erin subsequently underwent the planned bone marrow transplant and was reported to be cancer-free when the story was broadcast.

The photograph is open to several interpretations. It may show an unusual lighting effect, smoke, lens flare, motion blur, an indistinct person, or an image artifact. Others continue to regard it as evidence of a spiritual presence.

Los Angeles, California: The Alleged “Space Syrup”

A Los Angeles healer identified as Laviaia Ritkiss claimed that extraterrestrial beings gave her the formula for a substance she called “space syrup.”

According to the story, Ritkiss was working in an office behind her store when seven small green beings suddenly appeared. She said their large, luminous eyes immobilized her and prevented her from moving or speaking.

The beings allegedly expressed affection for humanity and told her that they wanted to provide a gift that would improve human health.

When Ritkiss regained awareness, she claimed that the beings were gone and a written formula had been left on her desk.

Claims of a Miracle Cure

Ritkiss said she prepared the syrup from common kitchen ingredients and began taking a teaspoon each day. She subsequently claimed that her arthritis disappeared and that her skin, teeth, hair, energy, and general health improved.

She later made far more expansive claims, stating that people who received the formula experienced relief from acne, depression, heart disease, cancer, and other conditions.

However, she keeps the formula secret from mass communication.

Berlin, Germany: Pregnant Woman Claims Beneficial Extraterrestrials Cured Her Leukaemia

A sensational media story described a 34-year-old Berlin woman named Greta Brandt, who allegedly learned that she was pregnant and had leukaemia on the same day.

According to the account, her prognosis left her emotionally devastated. As she approached her automobile, two strange men with long, pointed ears reportedly confronted her.

Brandt claimed that the figures had piercing black eyes and seemed able to control her movements.

Taken Aboard a Craft

The figures allegedly led Brandt into a vacant lot several miles from her home. There, she saw a saucer-shaped object that she described as pulsating with bluish light and approximately the size of a school bus.

Once aboard, she said four beings placed her on a padded table. One of the figures lowered a large instrument and light from the ceiling and directed it toward her face. Brandt reported no physical pain.

She later awakened in her backyard. Approximately five hours had passed, and she noticed a small needle-like mark on her right temple. Brandt claimed that subsequent examinations found no sign of leukaemia. She believed the beings had saved both her and her unborn child.

Damon, Texas: UFO Light and the Alligator Bite

One of the best-known UFO healing claims occurred near Damon, Texas, on September 3, 1965.

Brazoria County Chief Deputy Billy McCoy and Patrol Deputy Robert W. Goode were traveling south on Highway 36 between Damon and West Columbia after attending a high school football game.

Goode had recently been bitten on his left index finger by his son’s pet baby alligator. The finger was swollen, painful, and covered with a bandage.

Strange Lights Over the Prairie

At approximately 11:00 PM, McCoy noticed a brilliant purple light in the distance. A smaller blue light appeared beside it. The officers initially considered the possibility that the lights originated from oil field equipment. As they continued watching, however, the lights moved and approached their patrol vehicle.

Under the clear, moonlit conditions, the officers reportedly perceived a massive, dark object associated with the lights. Later descriptions suggested that it was triangular or elongated, possibly measuring between 150 and 200 feet in length.

The purple light became intense enough to illuminate the ground and the interior of the patrol car.

Heat Strikes the Injured Hand

Goode’s left arm was resting near or outside the open window when the light reached the vehicle. He reported feeling heat against his arm and hand.

Alarmed by the object’s approach, the officers rapidly left the area. A short time later, Goode realized that his injured finger was no longer throbbing. When he removed the bandage, he found that the swelling had substantially diminished and the wound appeared greatly improved.

McCoy confirmed that Goode’s finger looked noticeably better.

The officers reportedly returned to the area later that night and again observed the distant lights. Their UFO sighting was subsequently examined by civilian investigators, including representatives connected with the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena, and by Air Force personnel.

The presence of two law enforcement witnesses gives the UFO observation greater historical weight than many single-witness accounts.

Pensacola, Florida: “We Are Repairing Your Heart”

On August 7, 1989, real estate broker and experiencer Katharina Wilson, a resident of Portland, Oregon, was staying in Pensacola, Florida.

Wilson reported being injured by a nearby lightning strike. Although she believed the electrical discharge had affected her, she decided to wait until morning to determine whether her condition improved.

The Medical Procedure

That night, Wilson recalled finding herself lying on a table while experiencing severe chest pain.

From what she described as a dissociated state, she watched extraterrestrial beings cut a square-shaped opening into her chest. They then positioned a mechanism with several extensions over or inside the opening.

As the pain intensified, Wilson said the beings communicated telepathically:

“We are repairing your heart. You will be healthy now.”

No Visible Scar

Wilson awakened the following morning with soreness in her chest but otherwise felt physically stable. She immediately searched for evidence of the procedure. She found no blood, incision, or square-shaped scar.

Wilson believed the device had realigned the electrochemical impulses in her heart after they were disrupted by the lightning strike.

She also reported remembering numerous other healing procedures performed by nonhuman beings.
