Millions for minorities – EU finances gender agenda with taxpayers’ money
No trace of democracy – The EU is funding ideologically charged projects to combat “intersectional violence” against LGBTIQ women and non-binary people with millions of euros. The hard-working population is being forced to pay.
While Europe’s small and medium-sized businesses are groaning under the tax burden, inflation and uncertainty, almost 3 million euros of tax money from Brussels is flowing into a project entitled: “Preventing and combating intersectional violence towards LBTIQ women and non-binary persons,” available here.
The name sounds harmless, but what is behind it?
A look at the EU funding platform reveals that the project runs from 2024 to the end of 2026 and is funded with exactly €2,969,672 – entirely from the EU budget, i.e., the money of European citizens. The project sponsor is a so-called “EuroCentralAsian Lesbian Community” association, which specializes in the political representation of lesbian and non-binary people with Central Asian roots.
The term “intersectional violence” is an ideological construct from gender theory and suggests a structural multiple discrimination that requires millions to combat – of course not for all citizens, but exclusively for a small, arbitrarily defined minority.
Democracy? No. This is post-democratic elite politics
It’s important to note that no directly elected citizen representatives make decisions on such projects. Neither national parliaments nor EU citizens were asked whether they want their tax money spent on gender utopias and identity politics.
The funding comes from the EU Commission’s CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) program, which is endowed with billions – largely free from democratic control.
What does this mean? The EU Commission allocates funds according to its own ideology and agenda, far removed from public debate or democratic participation. National parliaments nod their approval, and citizens generally hear nothing about it – unless they dig deep on EU portals.
An agenda against family, tradition and community?
The suspicion is obvious: It’s no longer about “equality,” but rather about a targeted restructuring of social foundations. The family – once the nucleus of stability and community – is being ideologically dismantled and replaced by a fragmented mosaic of identity.
With each new project of this kind it becomes clear: the EU does not pursue an inclusive policy, but rather promotes division, artificiality and the deliberate breaking up of established structures.
Why is a tiny population group receiving millions of dollars in support, while traditional families, single parents, farmers, artisans and caregivers are barely heard?
Conclusion: Ideology instead of democracy
This funding practice is not only undemocratic – it is evidence of a technocratic, top-down agenda that has nothing to do with the realities of life for the majority of people.
While Brussels presents itself as the guardian of “values,” it pursues a targeted cultural policy against the middle of society – financed by the very same people who are increasingly disenfranchised and ignored.
