On National Day, may long live Romania!

by Maria Nicola

The national history is rather confused to most of the Romanians, to say the least. For they have been taught different things concerning history, according to the time they were attending school. Moreover, in communist times, there was some exhibitionist drive about the so-called “patriotism” that slightly embarrassed most of the common-sensed people to express their patriotic feelings.

The beauty and the wealth, the history and spirituality of this country are unfamiliar to many of us, and current education is basically shallow, materialistic, therefore youth is shaped on upset patterns, cherishing quixotic dreams about the West as a place to emigrate. Not to say that specific propaganda currently strives to enforce the idea of the  people as a lazy, indolent, stupid, corrupted people, whereas its real features would rather be diligence, kindness, honesty, hospitability, affection, intelligence and humour.

The Romanians’ image and vision about their people, history and country is growing ever weaker since the last few years. Hence, a real crumbling of the national consciousness and of the patriotic feelings. There are many causes to do with it: life is getting more and more tough, disastrous economy, political delusions since 1989 and, last but not least, the skilful manipulation via mass media.

Facing the NATO and EU accession, the external credits and all emergent conditions, facing the problems of nowadays Romania, these people reached to look at themselves as to a backward people, living in a coarse country that lacks any authentic tradition. We are acknowledged as Hagi’s and Dracula’s country and we are grateful for any scrap of attention. Obviously there is a lot to say about the hidden reason behind such economical, political and cultural tricks, but it is even more important to recover our national dignity, in order to find the sources required for a genuine renewal.

It is high time for this tormented people to rejuvenate and face now its own future. If only the Romanians knew some historical and spiritual facts about their people and their country, maybe that would give us a proper perspective upon ourselves.

There are some mysteries to adorn the Romanian history. Maybe the most important to the historians is the deep unity and the continuityof its own tradition against a troubled history, due to continuous sliding of Turkish, Hunnish, Tatar and Slav invaders. What may be incomprehensive at a materialistic approach becomes naturally evident from a spiritual view.

The lands of Romania have lodged since ages a flourishing civilisation and a powerful, authentic tradition. These strong historical times have inset a beneficial spiritual force to this area, which survives after thousands of years yet. This is what offers to the space amidst the Carpathians, the Black Sea and the Danube the matrix feature for an exceptional people, gifted with a remarkable specific tradition, from many points of view, which makes it unique in the European frame.

What we mean is that our ancestors’ spirituality is so deep imprinted in this lands that it managed to support in time the unity of this people and endowed it with specific features. Our ancestors are referred here as people who virtually lived here and not the countless populations that have been crossing over and sometimes conquered part of the country for periods of time, though they couldn’t deeply change the nature of our people, as the saying goes “the water passes by, the stones lay still”.

Since the last two millenniums the Romanian people has been through difficult times, for the wealth of these blessed lands has often attracted foreign conquerors. It started with the Romans, which we got used to consider by a terrible history mistake, our ancestors. Lately, the data and resources manipulation became a dreadful weapon in the hands of those who, for one reason or another, mean to exploit the richness of this country or hinder some prophecies concerning its great future.

There are indeed amazing prophecies (well known in the occult milieus, but rather strange to common people) stating that Romania is about to become in near future the spiritual centre of the world, Bucharest will be the New Jerusalem, the Romanians will be the chosen people and the second appearance of Jesus will occur right here, in Romania. Such prophecies do not belong to the Romanians, which makes them yet more credible. From an esoteric perspective, the spiritual past and this possible future are perfectly consonant, going round as if a circle.

During the last decades, lots of researchers have had rather interesting discoveries (in archaeology, historiography, literature and linguistic), which might definitely change our perspective upon our forerunners and our tradition. Many of these discoveries are unfortunately concealed, but part of them that have been acknowledged are exciting, proving that the oldest written item on Earth has been discovered within Romania as well as the oldest human traces, the oldest goldfield, the oldest brass metallurgy etc. Human dwellings and 30,000 years old sanctuaries have also been discovered here.

Some of the so-called “certitudes” of our history hardly evince credibility at minute logical analysis. We have all been taught that we are successors of the Dacians and Romans, i.e. we are Dacian Romans. But there are scientists to support that we actually are the successors of the Dacians, that the Romanian people actually is the Dacian people and the Romans have been just part of the countless aggressors coveting to the richness of these lands – the Dacians’ thesaurus was assessed to 1000 tones of gold. The Romans had only succeeded to conquer part of the Dacia and they took back their army two centuries later. Couldn’t this statement be more logical namely, the Romans just mere invaders to have crossed our country like any others, against the principle stating that the Roman conquerors had lots of children with the Dacians’ widows and due to this violent and accidental “interference” there emerged a people remarkably united dwelling such a large territory?!

The theory of the Romanian people building stands on the famous statement of Grigore Ureche, a chronicler who had unreasonably written: “all Romanians come from Rim” (i.e. Roma). There have been different scholars, writers, historians to develop such incredible theory of the Romanian people building, which most of the Romanians mechanically admit these days despite its incoherence. The xenophile intellectuals had their part to play, for they consider the Roman civilisation highly superior to the Dacian tradition, whereas the truth is the very opposite.

Considering that this very certitude concerning our Latin origin is just shaky theory, there definitely must be lots of other things for us to learn about ourselves! The National Day is an excellent opportunity for all of us to pay more attention to our national identity. It is high time to give heart and soul HERE and NOW for the exceptional destiny of this Romanian people, which is appealed to enforce the divine victory over the satanic world forces that the FREEMASONRY directs from the shadow.  It’s time now for us to fight by the weapon of discrimination and the shield of truth and justice so that the famous prophecies of Sundar Singh may come true much earlier in this country blessed by God.
